White dessert plate Limoges porcelain. Rim decorated with vine and fruits drawings. Diameter: 21 cms. For the XVIIIth century, date of first productions, the fame of Limoges porcelain developed to the point that the name of the city evokes today immediately the art of porcelain. Porcelain is a ceramic with hard dough. Mixture of kaolin, clay, quartz and feldspar. Thanks to the kaolin, the china has the peculiarity to remain white after the cooking. It is not porous and very shockproof thermal (is not afraid either of the freezer, or of the oven).
